Yay! My new shotgun is here!
 

Just purchased a Mossberg 930SPX and man was it hard to find! I called every dealer in my state and nobody had any, then I searched Gunbroker, Bud's Gun Shop, and probably 20 online gun shops and nobody had one.

Finally I found two at Arizona Gun Runners. So the guy has one more left, if you guys are interested better call fast! Half the guys I talked to said that they are all being shipped to Iraq for the soldiers, that's why they're so scarce.

Arrived today and I'm going to have fun with this bad boy.

A few questions, someone said you need to run 500! rounds through a new semi-auto shotgun in order to "break it in" properly, this seems excessive.. can any one confirm this?

Also, what do I need to run through it on break in? A little bit of everything? slugs, buckshot, birdshot, etc.?

$550 shipped from Arizona Gun Runners, like I said, as of a week ago he had only one left. Better hurry! They are impossible to find.. I got lucky.

Thanks HM, I just purchased the one that was left....turns out Gary the owner knows my neck a the woods pretty well.
I have shot guns but they're for hunt & sport.....this is a different animal.

Definitely start with buckshot, it might not even be able to cycle birdshot.
